Position Summary
The HVAC Lead Installer will oversee and execute the installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This leadership role requires advanced technical knowledge, job site coordination, and mentoring of junior installers. You’ll represent Air Force Mechanical with professionalism and ensure all installs are completed efficiently, safely, and up to code.
Key Responsibilities

Lead installation of HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, mini-splits, ductwork, and thermostats

Interpret blueprints and layout duct systems accurately

Supervise and train installation team members on best practices and safety procedures

Ensure jobs are completed on time and within scope

Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and inspectors

Maintain inventory, tools, and ensure proper documentation of work

Inspect and test systems post-installation for proper operation and code compliance
Qualifications
-
3+ years of HVAC installation experience with leadership capabilities

EPA Certification and relevant HVAC licenses required

Strong technical skills and familiarity with multiple system types

Comfortable working on ladders, in attics, and in confined spaces

Excellent organizational and communication skills
